Our Team
The Chicago Aquabelles is Illinois' only nonprofit, nationally competitive artistic swimming club. We have continuously strived to welcome and include swimmers from all backgrounds while building a stronger, more inclusive community within the sport. Our team is located in the Chicago suburbs, specifically in Arlington Heights.
Chicago Aquabelles offers both competitive and noncompetitive programs, including novice, intermediate, and age group levels, for athletes ages 6–18. Our team competes at both the local and national levels. Prospective athletes must be able to tread water for at least one minute and swim 50 yards (two laps). Basic knowledge of swimming strokes is recommended but not required.
Swim with Us
Artistic swimming balances elegance, strength, flexibility, endurance, and power into one. Our sport combines cheerleading, dance, gymnastics, and swimming into a unique sport that challenges athletes both physically and creativly.
Our Sport
Our USAAS certified coaches provide athletes with the guidance and support needed to develop strong technique, endurance, and confidence. Through personalized instruction and consistent feedback, swimmers build the skills necessary to reach their goals while enjoying a positive and encouraging training environment.
Dedicated Coaching
Artistic swimming is built on teamwork, trust, and communication. Athletes learn to support one another while developing leadership, discipline, and resilience. Together, our team celebrates growth, hard work, and achievements throughout every season.
